Current Commercial Research
- Determining natural bloodflow in lower extremities and effects of compression garments like compression stockings (aka "compression socks") in the prevention of cardiac embolism in high-stress environments such as ultra-endurance running and mountaineering.
The findings have been published in the following article: Research Says These Are The Best Compression Socks for Nurses and Doctors. Experimental group changes include increased blood flow to the feet and improved recovery times.
Previous Commercial Research
- Assistant researcher for biological effects marine algae. Included ice-flow algae located in Antarctic region to test EPA and DHA levels in blood after supplementation with a commercially available processed-algae product. New research question is pinpointing how much dha during pregnancy is optimal?
